I have allergic kids (milk, eggs, and nuts) so I have a bunch of tried and true recipes for them but I need to prepare a treat for a child who is allergic to all these plus wheat and corn. I’m looking for something simple and not too expensive, preferably with ingredients I already have on hand. Also, it should be a finger food snack (I already made safe apple crisp).
My only ideas are peanut chews made with sunflower seed butter (which I’d have to buy and I’d rather not) or just melt chocolate with rice crispies.
Any other ideas? Are there egg free cookies made with oatmeal?

I can probably help you out. Are there other people having a treat at the same time that you'd like to try to make something similar for this allergic child?

I recall there is an excellent cookie recipe that calls for only 4 ingredients,

Flour, oats, maple syrup & oil.

I can maybe see if I can find it but maybe someone else will remember it.

Would muddy buddies with rice Chex and sunflower butter work? Most organic powdered sugars are made with tapioca instead of corn starch like the regular ones.

Thank you everyone!

This is for a Chanukah party where there will be a sweet table for everyone with various cookies, rugelach, donuts, etc. - just no nuts (airborne allergy) and I’d like to make something special for this child. She’s not 3 yet and is used to not being able to have what the other kids have so it needn’t look exactly like anything else, but I imagine she (and her parents) would appreciate having a safe special treat.
As I fellow allergy mom I know her parents trust me if I say I prepared something safe, I just need help thinking of what!

Right now it looks like I need to add sunbutter and/or egg-free marshmallows (fluff has egg whites) to my shopping list.

Any other ideas?
