I am making a small party for my dd who is turning 1 I"H... I need EASY, non-expensive ideas for food for the party... it is mostly ADULTS coming since the baby doesnt have "freinds" yet... so I'm thinkin finger foods maybe with a BBQ.... any ideas?

franks in blankets, mini eggrolls, steaks on the grill with squash and eggplant, corn, and potato. I'm coming. Iced tea, coke, cole slaw and pickles. Did I mention I'm coming?

for a yummy cake dessert you can make something like banana bread in muffin tins. It is in the purple cookbook (lubavitch). It has such yummy healthy things in it like wheat germ and I substitute the nuts with oatmeal.

Fruit & veggie platters, cookie trays. FINGER FOOD. Who says you have to serve a full meal?

I made it just for family (about 15 of us) but I served a few salads, crackers, chips, dips, vegetable platter, rolls because it was a malava malka so ppl could wash, and birthday cake of course. it was simple but there was enough for everyone to eat and it was easy to prepare.
