Can everone tell me which car seat they recommend, or don't recomend? I've been borrowing a friend's Evenflo, which I don't like at all. I've been looking into the Compass 1400 which looks good. Does anyone have it?

We have the Compass B500 for a booster and love it, I also have to get a regular car seat now cos of an accident and am so upset cos I really like the one we have now and they don't make it anymore. If I find a good one I'll post back.

are you looking for an infant seat or an infant-toddler convertible?

Are you talking about an infant seat, or a convertible? How old is your baby?

Thanks all -

She is 6 months knayna hara, and I need one for now as well as b'ezras Hashem for the next ones. I know she may grow out of it soon, but I can only get an infant one as I live in Yerushalayim and we don't have a car. My Zippy acts as a pretty decent snap'n go when I need it. Speaking of which, what do people do when the baby outgrows the infant seat but you don't have a car? I can't drag a toddler seat around in a cab. I think most people just hold the baby and forget the car seat - I don't like that idea, is there an alternative?
I don't know which Evenflo we have, as I didn't buy it, but it doesn't have any cushioning and only one little snap at the bottom to keep her in safely. It might be a very old model. Maybe I'll check out the Triumph. Although the more research I have been doing on the Compass, the more I like the way it sounds.
