Take a butternut squash and peel it. Then lay it face down on a cookie sheet or something. Bake on 500 until soft. Then, cube it and put it in a pot with water, roughly 2 parts water to 1 part squash. Add salt and 2 Tablespoons sauteed onions. Blend when it bubbles. Yields about 5 bowls from 1 squash.
My baby loves this mixed with baby cereal. Also legal for the SCD diet.

Bake squash in oven for about 1.5 hrs till soft.
At same time, bake garlic clove (wrap in aluminum foil) (Smells great)
Saute onion, celery in pot
Boil Water in kettle.
Peel squash (very easy), cut into chunks, add to pot, squeeze garlic into pot, add water, some salt & spices (ginger, nutmeg, allspice) & blend with immersion blender.
Yummy.
