I need some advice.
Tomorrow is my dd last day of playgroup and she's been there for quite a while. Do I have to send or do anything. It's my oldest child so I really am unexperienced. TIA!

Of course! Send a small token gift to each morah, with a handwritten note telling her what a nice year it's been for your dd. I often bake presents, but sometimes I'll buy a small kitchenware type of thing like a candy dish. You don't have to spend much, you only need something to go with the nice note.

I spent a good portion of the day writing notes for a total of 8 different teachers/Rebbis. That is what I can do now, and I feel and hope that they appreciate my "Hakoras Hatov" to them, even though I am not buying any gifts.

is a heartfelt note enough without a tip or it should go with a tip or gift?

The above poems are cute but to each teacher I was very specific- like the original Sukkos project, that amazing looking Haggadah you sent home, those original cookies, the beautiful wooden shtender that you built with the boys, That amazing research project- you get the idea- this way I hope they know that I really thought about what I wrote- not something generic which is also OK

In each of these poems she can add something personal. I agree that by mentioning something specific , It shows you really mean it
