Hi,
I'm asking this for a friend of a friend whose 4 yr. old DD is already trained and is now refusing to go to the bathroom. Meaning if the mom will ask if she needs to go she'll just pretend that she doesn't...
Idk if this matters, but this person is going through a tough divorce right now...maybe the issue stems from that? Any ideas that I can pass along?
TIA

the child is stressed and acting out. You would too if your life was being turned upside down.

Would incentives help? And, if at all possible in the childs presence the atmosphere should be relaxed.
