When my baby was in nicu, a friend gave me an outfit - mini size to fit my baby. It was the thing that touched me most. It was saying in few words, it WILL BE GOOD!!!! She'll outgrow her challenge and get to wear this. This outfit was actually the first thing she wore. You can add a few words of brochos - may your baby come home and wear this very soon IYH. Of course something for mom is nice but my experience at that time was - I can't even think of pampering myself - the second I got home from nicu at night it was pumping and sleeping - nothing else. But this is really very subjective. refua shlaima for your nephew - may this all be over very, very quickly.

I had cheated during pregnancy and bought lots of beautiful stuff for my baby, knowing that it was going to be a girl. She ended up staying in the hospital for 3 months and by the time she came home the seasons had changed and she was no longer able to wear the clothes I had purchased ahead of time.
