I have sensitive and moody skin. It's combination and sensitive. What products that are not too pricey have you found to be good for such type?
I recently stopped using clinque and bought bare minerals. I actually really like it. Should I use their cleanser and moisturizer as well?

I've been using Mario Badescu products for many years. I even have my 11 y/o daughter on their sutff (hey, you can never start too young Smile ). They are the best! They have a comprehensive skin care line that is personalized so that every issue is addressed by the products I.e. oily, dry, sensitive, acne, rosacea, mature skin, combinations of the above etc..... If you live in NY, I suggest that you go down to the salon and ask for a skincare consult (free) where they'll analyze your skin and recommend the products that will best suit your particular type. If you can't get down there, you can fill out a questionairre online, or give them a call and they'll let you know what to use after asking you some questions.
BTW, I do not work for them, nor do I get commissions- just an immensely satisfied customer. Wink

My skin is pretty sensitive and I use the good ol neutrogena salicylic acid "gentle yet effective" face wash. Well that's cuz I am prone to lil acne breakouts. I dunno if you are.

For a moisturizer, I dunno, I'm still looking for the perfect one. My latest is garnier nutritioniste, which is pretty good, but I don't think its ideal for sensitive skin.

I have the same kind of skin as you and I've been pretty happy with the AVEDA sensitive skin line.

I too have used cetaphil for years, as per my dermotologist's suggestion.
They recently re-did their facial cleanser. It's not creamy anymore, it's a clear solution now. It comes in a pump.
Where do you find the old version? I really want it desperately.

lately I find that cetaphil is great. it's that stuff some docs recommend you wash a baby with. you can use it with water or without, and I haven't needed moisturizer since I started using it.
