When you got pregnant with your twins did you get quiet big already the first few weeks of pregnancy?
Did you realise then already ,you are bigger then the usely people the first few weeks?

Not straight away, no. At 12 weeks I was measuring 16 weeks fundal height, and by 16 weeks people were already asking me how long I had left.

I don't remember how quickly I outpaced the norm, but I put on maternity at about 20 weeks. So it probably wasn't all that fast. But by the time I was in my 7th month or so, strangers were coming up to me on the street asking me if I was having twins (not kidding!).

Pineapple, I didn't know that you had twins! K'ah to all those mothers who do. Double the pleasure but double the work and trouble too.

I also got asked if it was twins on the street. They were my first so I didn't have one pregnancy where I didn't show for a long time. I was showing by 12 weeks or so.

Nadia Sulyeman will tell you. For a price. Isn't she the acknowledged expert on multiple births?

I was sure the entire world knew for sure that I was carrying twins. I felt ENORMOUS! I looked like a caboose! But then when I had the twins the entire community was shocked. everyone said they never would have even suspected that it was twins. So I guess its all about how YOU feel ;-)

I felt growth very early and every symptom of pregnancy was super intensified very early on. I had people comment that I couldn't possiby feel anything that early (10 weeks or so) but they didn't know I was having multiples (I was carrying triplets.) I had to leave work permanantly at 10 weeks so a few coworkers knew but I tried not to tell people I was even pregnant that early in case anything happened. Later on, I was looking due at 16 weeks. I never told people my real due date as I wasn't telling people I was having multiples. It was crazy! By 20 weeks, I looked way overdue (assuming I had one in there!) but I was in the hospital on bedrest since that so no more comments but I am sure I everyone would have known it was multiples if I were walking around after that.
