I am looking for a great dessert to make in ramikins ( not sure how to spell so cant find anything by searching). Ideally I am looking for a great hot chocolate cake recipe to make in ramikins and serve fri night. But any other delicious recipe would also be great.

Any delicious hot chocolate cake recipe for ramikins? Any other recipes for ramikins?

This is delicious and easy. I make it all the time and I think it tastes better then the ones from scratch. The recipe is from ss321:

Make duncan hines brownie mix like the package directions. Put in one extra egg yolk and about 1/2 c sugar and some godiva or something comparable into the mix. makes it more "runny"
Bake at 375/400 for about 13 - 15 minutes until outside is set and inside is still runny (the baking times are very approx)

Here's my recipe:

1 bag chocolate chips
3/4 c. margarine
4 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar

Melt chocolate chips and margarine in the microwave 2 minutes or until melted and stir until smooth. In another bowl whip eggs and sugar together until tripled in volume, 6-7 minutes. Fold egg mixture into chocolate and divide among 8 buttered ramekins. Bake at 350F for 17 minutes.

I don't see why not. I bake it and then refridge or freeze it. Then right before shabbos stick it in the oven at 400 until hot and then place on the blech or on top of my cholent pot until dessert so it stays warm.

(Question for your LOR: I don't put these on the blech on shabbos (I will leave on there from before shabbos) because the middle melts and it is changing the state, and I don't put ice cream directly on the cake, even if it is not yad soledes bo, because it causes the ice cream to melt faster - I don't know if everyone holds like this - so you may want to check with your own rav - I just want to let you know of issues that have come up when I make it)

I hope it comes out great. Enjoy.
