Can any recipe be frozen into a log and sliced when needed
Will it work with almond flour cookies

Typically it would be for specific recipes.

You can achieve the same result with drop cookies by making the balls and freezing them - you would then bake the quantity you want.

I freeze all kinds of cookie dough, but not all freeze well in a log or slice well. Ones with almond flour I found just crumble if I try to slice.

yes, but wouldn't you need to put it on a cookie sheet? If you put it in a bag does it clump together?

Freeze them on a cookie sheet. When frozen solid,you can take them off and put them in a bag and they won't stick. I do the same with burger patties and individual chicken cutlets.

This is what I do. If you want to be persnickety, you can layer with wax paper after freezing, but frozen balls are pretty forgiving is they stick together a bit in the freezer.

FWIW, all cookies improve if you put the cookie sheet in the refrigerator or freezer before baking as they spread less.
