can you send a link for the one you have? I have an old hamilton beach but it needs to be replaced because the shredder and grater attachments are not working well.

I have similar to this one for Pesach for the past 8 years:
https://www.amazon.com/Hamilto.....E6NO/

It handles maror fine on the shredder blade, but the S-blade can't handle it. It makes a very large batch of kugel beautifully. I like a coarse grated potato though, this isn't a kugel blade (which I understand is a finer grate). The blade is a drop annoying to put on and take off but not terrible.

It is a big food processor but I have the space.

For year-round I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KHLN7K2/
but the safety feature is so unbelievably annoying I figured out how to break it off so it's not as frustrating to use.

I don't know how much they cost- but I got a Cuisinart food processor years ago and its a powerful machine. Works even better than the Braun.
