Made the dough less potato knishes & thinking a mushroom sauce would be a nice accompaniment on top of it for an appetizer.
Any ideas for a pesach recipe for sauce ?
Easy one ?

Sauteed mushrooms and onions. Use potato starch mixed in water to thicken to your liking

Sauté a large diced onion until translucent, add can of sliced mushrooms and sauté more 5 minutes. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
Pour in 1 cup chicken soup broth. Then dissolve 1 tbsp potato starch in 2 tbsp cold water and add in as well. Cook and stir until thickened. Taste and add additional salt, as needed.
