Any ideas how to make it? My regular recipe calls for soy sauce. I don’t have any sauces in the house except ketchup. Also can I broil it today if it’s for the last day meal? (Tuesday lunch)

Rub with oil and cover generously in salt and pepper, then broil.
You can make now, and slice before serving over salad (room temp).

I just made a recipe that calls for soy sauce. I made a substitute out of water, a very generous amount of salt, and garlic powder.(It tasted quite soy saucy)

I assume it'll come out fine

Broil for how long on each side?

Thanks! And good Yom tov!

10 minutes per side for a 2 - 2.5 lb london broil. If yours is smaller, could he as little as 7 minutes per side.
Wrap in foil and let rest at least 10 minutes. Only slice before serving.

I’ve been using balsamic vinegar in place of soy sauce. My husband said the steak was even better than usual.
