I've been trying other different recipes
I haven't found the perfect one
Anyone have a great recipe to share?
I think the issue with the buns are the dough is hard to roll very thin and it comes out thick.. I'm looking for thin cinnamon buns
Ty everyone!

I use my Challa dough recipe and roll very thin. It's delicious and healthier!

Apparently it's very common to use challah dough for rugelach and cinnamon buns

3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 scoop vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup oil
1 package dry yeast with 3/4 cup warm water and a spoonful of sugar
Combine ingredients. Knead the dough and let rise for a half an hour. Roll out the dough into a
rectangle. Brush with oil. Spread a cinnamon and sugar mixture on top. Roll up and slice. Place slices âlaying downâ on lined baking tray. Bake for 15 to 20 min. at 350°. Glaze the buns with a mixture of confectionery sugar, vanilla
and how water.
I make this recipe all the time. Itâs super easy and you can add hot cocoa powder mix for chocolate buns.
They freeze beautifully.
