I asked my husband and he said yes. but I know that there are are plenty of people who hold otherwise. basically ask your husband or LOR.

maybe they would this year b/c otherwise there are no lag b'omer weddings available. but if they don't hold that you can listen to music and such until tomorrow, then I would assume not.

AS far as I remember it has to do with sefaradi and ashkenazi. One group does listen, the other doesn't. One group does get married on Lag Baomer night, the other only the next day...f

actually the city I grew up in is very litvish/yeshivish & almost no one listened until the next day. my family & dh's family are chassidish (& definitely not sefardi) & we have always listened at night.

Sephardic minhag is to have a full 33 days of mourning and not to do certain things until the 34th day of the omer. Like no haircuts usually, but this year we can bec. its erev shabbat. And sephardim don't generally make weddings on lag baomer but I have heard rabbis say that you can attend a wedding. I asked dh about the music this year, and he said it was ok even for us on the 33rd day. So I'm confused, go figure.
