I was trying to create a site and the computer did not allow me to type (no text appeared). They told me it's because of a pop up blocker and I should allow their site. I was using internet explorer and the pop up blocker was turned OFF. He said maybe it's from a different program. I have AVG (and maybe also Norton). How would I turn off the pop up blocker from them?

When you have a pop up blocker ON and you want to allow pop ups on a particular site, you can press the control key as you open the website, and it will allow the pop ups.

There are many pop-up blockers and many of them are invisible such as the one that comes with windows XP. There’s also one embedded in Google. Do you know which one you have?
