I allowed a school bus to be parked in my driveway

on weekdays and over shabbos in order for a poor jewish camp

to save on Gas (its a long story).is is run by two elderly lubavitchers

now camp is over and they dont remove the bus!

what should I do? the police said I could have it towed .

I feel I am taken advantaged of . Crying or Very sad

You are being taken advantage of. I think that there is some arbitration committee for stuff like that.

they know &*^ well -that the bus is in my driveway.
they have no where to put it .
we have made phome calls to them .
I am thinking of having it towed at their expense.
I do not have the keys to the bus .

Put a 'for-sale' or 'free for the taking' sign on it. Or just tell them that you charge $50 a day to rent your driveway.

It is not your responsibility to keep the darn school bus.

I would call them and give them 2 days notice that if they don't pick it up, you'll call the police to report it as abandoned. It really is a shame frum people would put others in such a position.

they can park it on the street, and move it when alternate side is in effect.

The #$%%^ bus it still in my driveway !
I have noticed that is does not have any stickers in the front windows !
like its registration sticker or inspection stickers -that could mean huge
fines for them ! if I contact the police.

Did you DO anything about it yet? Don't just complain here. I know it takes a lot of guts to do something but you have to!You got some good ideas here.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Stop complaining and be proactive!
Have you told the owners what you will do?
How about calling them again and saying : When I get off the phone with you I will be calling the police, 311, the city etc about your bus. If you want to keep your bus, I suggest you move it before someone else tows it away!

And then MAKE THE CALL!!

I have called to no avail !
I just left another message with their answering service.
I dont live in N>Y>C so I cant call 311
I dont think I have the heart yet to have it towed !
I will give it a day or two more !
