First time mom so please be gentle in your responses. I’m trying to get my 6 month old on more of a consistent day time schedule. Normally he goes to sleep at around 9:30pm and wakes up for the day at around 8am. I’ve tried earlier at night and he just wakes up a million times.
He is breastfed and am starting solids more consistently soon b’zH. Teething is pretty bad.
Currently taking 2-3 naps and I have to hold him till he falls asleep but he normally can put himself back to sleep if he gets startled when I put him in the crib.
I feel very lost and trying to figure out how people do it. I try to put him down for naps at similar times but he isn’t always tired enough. Some naps are long and others are 15 mins. Not sure if this is normal or if I’m doing something wrong. TIA

Sounds great to me! My kids didn’t really nap well until around 7 months and even then it was unpredictable and changed constantly until they dropped to one nap
