Yes we streamed it at home (only with Internet connection) for my teens and neighbors but you have to pay per person

How is it? I find that while some of Malky’s films are very professional, some of them seem like a halfhearted attempt.

It's really weird to make a price per person while sitting at home.
I know it's a old thread but my girls wanted to watch it and $25/ viewer is really a lot of money. Sad

Yes exactly. They don't have extra costs depending on how many ppl watch it.
I wonder how much it cost to produce a video that they charge so much.
My girls are very disappointed but I told them we'll have to wait until next yom tov, by then it hopefully won't be so expensive.

This is a very odd business model. Frankly, I dont even think it would hold up in bais din or secular court.

Setting people up to be dishonest is just really strange. Charge $50 and call it day. Im not sure you're even allowed halachically to put something out in the open for access and then make it an honor system. Lifnai eiver etc.

Once you're doing the honor system, you can do "suggested donation." It's not just the same thing but without creating the temptation to be dishonest, there's also the subtle suggestion that if someone really loved it, they can pay more.
