My husband started a ba to be a cpa at around 50 bc his schooling from England never transferred. He got hired after his second interview bh.

Go become a nurse.

One day you will be 60 with or without that nursing degree in your hand. May as well be 60 and have a career that makes you happy and brings in a good income. Nurses in NYC can easily make 6 figures.

Important to shadow nurses and see what their day is really like. There are a lot of burnt out nurses. Look before you leap.

I'm voting for sonography. Both the schooling and job are much less demanding than nursing, but it definitely requires a high level of skill.

My husband started around then. He got a degree in the medical field. He was glad he did it.
