No, obviously I myself wrote in my op that I also went out to buy summer clothes and now see I won't necessarily need them

My apologies I guess. There is so much scorn on this site for anything related to shopping for kids clothes.

Who buys short sleeves for Pesach in the tristate? We buy them for shevuos. Last year was a fluke and doesn’t happen often.

Literally everyone in tri state area. Pesach clothing - summer season, Succos clothing - winter season. What weather is on Pesach and Succos is almost irrelevant. As someone mentioned, you'll be seeing many kids in socks and summer clothing on Yom tov.
Actually, this year Pesach is pretty late. I'd expect a warmer weather.

I have not seen much kids in shorts on pesach, unless it was really hot.

They buy it but it’s not intended for Pesach. No one puts short sleeves on their kids for Pesach unless it’s 80 degrees out like last year and even then my kids were one of the only ones.

Don't be shocked if you see PLENTY kids wearing short sleeves, short socks and summer shoes in this weather. It's pesach- weather doesn't count.

My kids wore short sleeves on and off over the past few weeks. There were many hot days. I assumed it would keep getting warmer. Will do long / short sleeves depending on the weather. I also bought cardigans to layer. It does look like 2nd days will be nice.

Really, people spend precious time before pesach and buy full priced clothing for their kids "not intended for Pesach"? Lol

Im probably putting my kids in short sleeves and short pants but only for the day we're not going out for a meal. They won't be going out anyway if it's cold

Most people I know are putting on the new summer clothes for pesach Bec nothing else fits

Why do so many people on imamother get triggered when people talk about shopping for kids (clothes, strollers ect)? wondering

Thank you OP for this PSA. I was actually just wondering if I should pack both winter and summer, or more of one and less of the other.
I think I’ll pack all winter and bring along one shabbos summer and one weekday summer for each person just incase we get lucky.

P.S. I didn’t buy my summer before pesach to wear for pesach. I got everything early because the matching the kids in the outfits I like sell out fast. Now you can feel free to throw potato

We've had 80+ degrees this week and I've been putting on short sleeves on my littles.

So it wouldn't be crazy to think you might need some over Pesach.

Am I the only one literally stretching my kids winter clothes at this point in the season? Nothing fits them anymore. Nothing.

Not sure why everyone is scoffing summer clothes for Pesach. It’s very late in the season this year and we’ve already had some summer days. I’m pretty disappointed in the forecast but I’m hoping to layer everyone with a cardigan or switch socks for tights.

No one puts short sleeves on Pesach. They usually do thin clothes with long sleeves and a spring jacket on top.
