Please just comment if you are certain re the proper etiquette here, tyia:
When a chasuna invitation has an rsvp card included, which just states an option to check if one is attending, & the invitation notes reception & chupah time, but no mention of dancing/simchas chasan/kallah (or more relevant to question) the dinner, does this mean one is being invited just for the chupah & dancing?
Or does just the fact that there's an rsvp card, mean invited for everything?
And finally, if one is only planning to come for chupah & dancing should they specify in rsvp card?

I would write that I’m coming only for dessert so they don’t give me a plate. You’re describing a normal yeshivish invitation which includes an invite to everything.

I really think it depends on the crowd. I’ve only ever seen ‘simchas chassan v kallah’ for chassidish weddings. All others wedding I’ve seen if you’re coming it means you’re coming for all of it

In yeshivish circles, RSVP means for the dinner. There's no limit on people you can have for chuppah and dancing.

People don't usually RSVP for simchas chosson v'kallah at any wedding.
