How do you go looking for a part in a play?

Living in BP. I used to act as a kid but haven't in years, but I'd like to try, and I am good at singing. I feel like I might have a chance because I'm a contralto (almost a tenor!), which isn't such a common voice type. I can sing like a man, basically LOL

But I don't even know how or where to go looking for that kind of thing. Does anyone have any tips? Also, are there such things as acting/improv classes for frum women?

You can audition for Rachel’s Place plays, but they just had their performance so it won’t be for a few months.

I think Malky Giniger sometimes does productions?

There are also frum movies you can audition for.
