I’d buy a pair of earrings I love. Buy something you’ll wear, you want dh to see you enjoy the gift. If you don’t wear earrings a lot, you can get a nice classic gold necklace for that amount.

I think it’s not just about the jewellery but your relationship with DH - he obviously worked hard to make you happy so should be received with a lot of appreciation. This will make him feel good. All my jewellery is less than that.. I just chose some earrings from the brand skagen..

May I also chime in to appreciate your husband, who has been lovingly and excitedly putting $$s away for you.
My opinion is to get either a necklace or earrings that you will use every day. It doesnt matter pay to buy something fancy , that you can only wear on occasions. A chain with either a small diamond or a heart pendant is very pretty and useful, or earrings you can wear every day.

I would LOVE a diamond eternity band with huge oval diamonds. I would get the lab grown but since I'm not in the market I don't even know what it costs and if $1500 would cover it.

If your hair/sheitel covers your ears and front of your face do a necklace. And take off some $ to buy simple pearl earrings. Or your ears are visible. Buy earrings. And take off $60-70 for a costume necklace.

I love "sets" where the necklace, earrings, bracelet and ring match. Or at least just the necklace and earrings...
