I saw in Ami a lady wrote in she uses rolls of linoleum to cover her counters for pesach. She uses the same ones every year just rolls up for storage. I feel like this might be super smart. The currigated plastic white ones get yucky after a year or two. Anyone have experience with linoleum? How would it stay put? Is it hard to cut? Clean? Store?

You can also use linoleum tiles. They're 24', same as the depth of the counter. Tape them down and don't stick the self stick.

I did it for years. Get a thinner linoleum on the roll that will be easier to cut. I cut it with an x-acto knife. The hardest part is cutting the sink and faucet hole. I jut cleaned it with regular 409 spray. After a number of years it gets moldy from water getting underneath and has to be thrown out.
We taped it to keep in place with Pesach counter tape. Easy to store rolled up

We use linoleum. My husband cut it to shape with a razor and we’ve been using the same ones for years. We use painters tape to tape it down. We’re very happy with it

We use peel & stick countertop covers, but we tape it on instead of sticking it on.

Are you sure linoleum is food safe, in case you put food right onto it?

I used linoleum for many years. Bought a large piece off a roll in Home Depot and cut it with a razor. I did find it tricky to cut perfectly by sinks and faucets but was very easy to clean up, roll up and save from year to year. Eventually it did get moldy and we tossed it. Last year I used that special contact paper that they make special for pesach. It was not cheap but if looked very nice.

Are you the same poster that doesn't defrost chicken on the counter?

Who puts food directly onto a counter? Don't we have plates for that?

Doesn't it curl and not lay flat on the counters?
