Benneton spelled backwards is notteneb.

As kids, the ones that wore Benneton stuff were not nebs, and we felt like the biggest nebs because we were dressed in cheap nerdy clothes.

I remember my aunt sending us a bag of handmedown clothes that she got from her very fancy friend (these clothes were used by 2 people) and we wore the Benneton stuff she sent us all the time. They were worn out like crazy but they were benneton. LOL

I check out their website periodically but would have loved to have been able to try on, like I used to as a child, the ordering and sending back seems like a hassle.

Yessssss!!! The fancy kids! I was not part of that clique
I saved up enough to buy myself just two benetton sweaters - I felt so good when I wore those sweaters ! BH now I can afford to buy my kids whatever brand and you know what , they dont get half the pleasure I did from what I worked for

I grew up wearing benneton and then they shut all the stores and it completely went off my radar. Last year I was shocked to see it still existed when I passed a store in Paris, I was so excited and bought a bunch of things to bring home. Seems like nothings changed

Yessss! They have really good quality stuff
and often the had crazy sales.

My kids wore their down coats for YEARS. My sisters kids wore them. Then I passed it along even further. It was warm, cozy and cute. I think it was $80 back in the day.

I remember being pregnant and buying matching for my oldest and my second. I wasn't sure of the gender so I bought for a boy and girl coordinating/matching.
It was $7 a set on sale. She ended up being a girl and I gifted the boys outfit.
The Williamsburg one was exactly double the price of the Flatbush one on full priced items.
So I'd shop at the Flatbush location. Williamsburg had maximum 50%off on clearance with no selection. Flatbush store. After being originally cheaper, had 70%off sales on fully stacked racks.
(Yups I knew that cuz I loved a good sale. Still do to this day 😀)
