We've been doing makkos shtick (adding jello to water to turn it to blood, animal crackers for wild animals, etc) for many years at the seder, the youngest at the seder are now tweens & I'm trying to think of something new (somehow also incorporating food) to keep the kids interested-one idea I have is to give each kid a word on a paper from the Hagaddah & if they point out when we're up to the word during the seder, they get chocolate/candy etc, (& then a new word after they get the word so they don't just leave after their word)-any other ideas? Leaving the table with cousins has become an issue, I'd like the kids to stay, but by making the seder more interesting, not to have to make them feel it's by force-any ideas would be appreciated!

We give out marshmallows throughout the whole seder for participating!

My husband makes his own Abba dollars that he hands out for good questions or good answers or a dvar Torah. The kids can redeem them after Pesach for various prizes. They all love it.
