And you also strain pasta in a fine mesh sieve? I have separate utensils for this, not based on meat/dairy but on different uses. Pasta is heavy and generally a large amount, wouldn't work with my soup strainer.

I use a pasta pot that has a built-in strainer in the lid. Game changer.

No, I strain pasta in my parev sieve, and I make the pasta in a parev pot.
