My son is 3 and four months and absolutely refuses to be toilet trained. Im pretty chilled and trust he will just do it when he’s ready , but iyh due in a few weeks and getting nervous for three in diapers iyh! Any tips?

There in diapers is easier than two in diapers and one having constant reminders/accidents.
Either way, right before or after a new baby is not a good time to train.

"Refuses" suggests you've tried. Yeah, it's an age where any hint of pressure may be counterproductive. Your son is still well within the age range for child led learning so have no fear!
My 3.75yo has received no training and has started to use the toilet on her own initiative sometimes. I don't know yet when she'll transition to underwear. I'm also facing the possibility of 3 in diapers, which my mom assures me means that I *have* to potty train her. I agree it will be nice if it happens before the new baby, but I didn't have children so life would be easy or inexpensive. ;-) I think we'll just have to see.

Even if you do manage to train him successfully now, a new sibling being born is the #1 classic time for a kid to regress and start having accidents again. It will be easier for you to just keep him in diapers.

Thanks everyone I guess I’m just gona continue to go with the flow with him like my gut has been telling me too! and definitely true it’s prob not a great time to train him right before his life about to change with a new baby…
