I make a very filling blended vegetable soup. Its gets everyone to eat lots of veggies that the kids wont eat plain. But DH and I like something solid to go with the soup. Usually I serve whole wheat rolls but what can I serve thats not hamotzi?

If iti's for a supper or any meal, I would definitely need to eat more than just a filling veggie soup. Soup fills you up for now but since it doesn't have protein and carbs really, you get hungry soon after eating it. Maybe add chunks of meat in there and eat the soup together with flatbread or croutons or breadsticks.
