Try Silhouettes.com. Don't know how they spell their name, though.

zippers won't do. They either have to be lace-up, reach mid-calf or lower, or stretchy. But if they're stretchy, chances are they're not real leather. Cheaper though.

Your legs still feel cold, though.

Isn't it possible to get boots stretched? I hope so, because I have several pairs I need to take to the shoemaker to get stretched. I have a very hard time finding boots that'll fit over my calves.

They do not exist! Im overweight but I wouldnnt call myself obese, and the only zipper boots that fits these calves are the thick winter ones.

You know, even though I'm....chunky, shall we say, my legs are disproportionately huge, mainly because of bouts of phlebitis & now they are very swollen from water retention which no medication seems to be able to get rid of. So please don't think fat legs are because the owner of these pins is heavy. So many overweight people I know have great legs. I think it's the luck of the draw.

Also you can get really built-up calf muscles from running and ballets. Not sure if you have one where you live but there's another company called Duo Boots that specialise in wide calf boots. You can give them specific measurement. They use high-quality leather.

I'm relatively overweight and my lower legs seem to have stayed the same size. I have fat fingers though!

Aerosoles makes a stretchy kind. My tip is to put them on like stockings (roll them down, start at the toe) as opposed to pulling over the whole leg to get to the foot part.

Nordstrom carries wide calf ones, but they will be wide, not fitted. Think equestrian boots, not stocking-tight ones..

If they're close, the shoemaker may be able to stretch them. S/he might also be able to put in an elastic insert.
