My daughter was referred to a pediatric endocronologist for short stature at age 6. All blood work was fine. Bone age is extremely delayed (meaning she has lots of time to grow) But bec. she was born shorter than average (dr. gave diagnosis of svg= small for gestational age) and is still very below the chart, he recommends giving shots.
