Ok, DD has a breathing issue on Sunday (her first one) and wound up in the ER where she was issued an inhaler and medicine and sent home (not getting into the medical stuff here because it is not about the health issue). She was supposed to have the inhaler all week. We go back to the Dr. tomorrow and have her check out.

So this morning she was having trouble breathing and I went to get the inhaler from her school bag and ooops she left it at school! AARGH!! So we called the doctor got him to call in another prescription picked it up raced her to the school bus and she left on time. I learned my lesson, she needs 2 one for at home one for her school bag.

But I was so freaked out I forgot to give the new inhaler or her lunch. I called the school and they were clearly unhappy that I asked them to help her find the inhaler in case she needs it this afternoon. I know it is not their responsibility to keep track of her inhaler, but how do you cope with all of this? It is not asthma yet since this was only her first episode, but I am starting to loose it.

Help!

Any coping tips will be gratefully received.

Probably mostly a matter of you and dd getting used to keeping track of it. Especially dd.

Refuah shelaimah. Hope she stays healthy and you don't need to get used to it! Very Happy
