on shabbos at someones house I had really great soup with barley, split pea (not blended), and a bunch of vegetables. I dont remember which vegetables, but I think carrots and sweet potato were some of them.
if you'd make such a soup, what veggies would u put? what seasoning? I am really in the mood of a hot bowl of that soup.

I make a yellow split pea soup with barley, carrot, onion, celery, leek, mushrooms, dill, flanken meat...
