Hi what had anyone does for Yud Shvat? We were in a small town and they only had a farbrengen for the men so I stayed home and tried to have a little mini farbrengen with my children. But it was a little hard becuz they are so young. What do you do with your own children on the chassidishe yomim tovim? I was thinking maybe something more hands on next time. coloring? I don't know

I don't know how old your kids are, but my 11 yr old ds likes to make a farbrengen with the kids at home. I allow them to buy some biscuits or another small treat of some sort, and usually after supper he sets up the table with a nice cloth and tells the kids loads of stories that he learned in Talmud Torah. The other older kids join in with the stories, and the little ones enjoy listening and eating the treat!
