I tutor a 6th grade boy, one on one. It's more like enrichment, in English/reading, etc. We live in Israel so its a supplement to what he gets in school, which is less than a regular American English/language arts class.
I have been giving him a lot of reading comprehension with not so much grammar. He is doing great with these and I feel like he needs more. What grammar is there that its 7th grade level or higher (he's very smart, and catches on to things quickly)?
Im basically looking for ideas of what to do with him, be it writing activities, grammar, etc.? I am able to buy workbooks if there are any recommendations....

so anyone with 6th grade or 7th grade kids-what are they learning in english class? (aside from novels)
