For the non jews, at least, summer is considered "the wedding season". Which season did you get married in and did you get married than because of the weather or other reasons?

I always wanted to get married in the spring because I wanted to get married outside with flowers and everything. Well, I did get married in the spring, but in La Perville, on 18th ave and 65 st. They said that I could have the chuppah outside, but Rolling Eyes . I know some people have a minhag of getting married outside, but I wanted to for the beauty. My mother did remind me that this is NY and it might rain. It didn't and was a beautiful day! Well, I at least like the guy I married.

I got married in the winter because I got engaged in the fall, and we wait about three months, so the hall was available,(other issues were in line, hameivin yavin) that's when I got married. I did have a chuppah outside (not my decision) and it was rainy and snowy the day before, the day of, but stopped for an hour or so before and after my chuppah. I felt really special.

I got married asap, because planning an Israel marriage from France is terrible. We took the first date, which turned out to be 10 April. Which is spring, right? We got married inside, in a synagogue. Great Syna. of Jerusalem, a dream.

I am not especially into outside weddings because I'm used to people getting married in synagogues and it's what feels nicer to me. Hall/hotel doesn't feel holy to me, and outside is cold! LOL

We dreaded that we would have to wait until Pessach and the no-marriage period, BH we got a date.

(my civil was one week before, on 3, in my town)

I believe it is June that is considered "wedding month" in the secular world.
When I was engaged (and already had a set wedding date--May 30) I read in some bridal magazine how June is the "lucky" month to get married in and May was always considered "UNlucky"--some whole complicated superstitious thing--a myth based on the position of the sun or something like that.
I got married Memorial Day weekend--right at the start of the summer. Couldn't have been more perfect--I graduated from college 5 days before and we both had the whole summer off before going back to school and work.

I should have written secular, not non jewish, but I'm not changing it.

I couldn't ask month because you can only give 10 choices in the poll. June is considered the "wedding month", but summer is considered the "wedding season".

I think I am starting to get the hang of it, though.

I forgot to answer my own question. We got married than because we waited the "typical" 3-4 months. We got engaged in March.
