Going to Israel next week IYH with my husband (not including kids) and am stumped on ideas of trips/things to do. We've done most of the classics and are looking for ideas — especially hikes that can be accessible by public transit. All ideas welcome!

There's a bus from Jerusalem to Ein Gedi. If you start early, you can spend a day hiking there, or you can just go as far as Nachal David for an easier day. They close about 4:00, at this time of year.
