Hi I'm desperate...my 8 yo was going to fully toilet trained till 3yo was born
Now he needs diapers at night
Life got busy fast forward a few years
Im left with a 8yo and 3yo that need to wear a diaper at night
How and what can I do to train them??
All advice welcome tysm wise women and mums

I’m not sure if I understand your post, but it’s totally fine for three-year-old to need a diaper at night . In terms of the eight-year-old I would discuss with your pediatrician.

My 3 year old son uses a night diaper, It’s something that you shouldn’t need to feel
so concerned about since it’s appropriate for the age. Unfortunately, I don’t have tips since I haven’t started working on it.
Regarding your 8 year old, you should seek advice from a children’s healthcare provider

Try giving stickers for waking dry with a prize if they get 3 in a row.

You can use the same method for both- but it isn't necessary (I think for the 3 year old)
Bathroom right before bed
No diaper and then wake up son in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, even multiple times- the first time you come in it might be too late- find the 'sweet spot" time before he goes in the diaper.
Reward when dry

Have you tried the bedwetting alarm for your 8 year old? (Not the 3 year old). It did the trick in about 6-8 weeks for my 6 year old, who really didn't want to be in diapers, and we haven't looked back since - she's almost 8 now.
