My 22 month old has a little blanket he likes to be near him.
His morah told me that she took it away from him during the day. She said he cried on and off but he doesn't need it.
Morahs any input? I'm usually fine with him having it, he just likes to see it nearby.
I wonder what's the harm? Why take it away

Very not ok. Kid is a baby in a new environment. The least you can do is let him be able to comfort himself. This is heartless to me.

I would be very upset if a morah did that to my child.
My 23 mo is also very attached to her lovie and wants to have it nearby during the day. You can slowly say it's only for sleeping at home but not by a morah.

Not okay. I would be upset at morah. Child feels a sense of security from it. They can’t take that away from the child. I would tell Morah that you’re comfortable with the child having the blanket. Morah needs to allow it
