Sales tax

I started a new retail business and want to file sales tax.
When I go to the website it just has me make a payment but doesn’t actually ask me for the amount of sales or total or anything.
How do I know I’m paying the right amount of sales tax? (I put aside 10% even though it’s 8% in my state just to be safe)

I would call your local State agency and ask them how to do it. It might be worth it to hire a business accountant

I know that every 3 months we have run a report out of our POS on what the taxes were and email that to the accountant and they take care of it
