I had a boy bH bH
Question : the doctor told me that the baby still doesn’t have a left testicle
Usually it grows by itself soon and corrects itself.
I am panicking though.
Anyone ever had this?

Usually it's up in the inguinal canal where you can't see it. If the pediatrician can't tell if it's there, see a pediatric urologist.

Is it missing or undescended? Undescended is pretty common.

For those with a missing testicle. Did you tell anyone or are you keeping it a secret?

My friend had this with her son. Turned out, it was there but hadn't descended. The doctor said if it doesn't descend by 18 months, they should operate to bring it down.

My son had an undescended testicle. He had surgery at 14 months and it was a quick and easy recovery.

Do.Not.Wait.
We listened to the pediatrician that if it doesn't come down by a year old they'll manually bring it down. Well guess what? It had twisted by then and had to be removed completely.
Go to a pediatric urologist. Ask Chaim medical for a referral. Don't sit and do nothing.

Is the right one completely normal? If he has one fully functional testicle he should be fine. You need to see a Pediatric urologist regardless, and they can explain everything to you and answer all your questions.

I would not tell anyone.
Once he's older it's a private matter, and it's not something you would want people to know about.

I wouldn’t tell anyone. Like other posters said, best to go to pediatric urologist for answers.
Dh had to have surgery as a kid and one side is smaller but bH we have 5 beautiful children. He forgot the dr mentioned that he may have difficulty with fertility and only remembered recently!!

There are serious halachos regarding this area of health. In addition to seeing a ped urologist ASAP!!! Ask your Rav/a Rav expert in this area for guidance.
