My dd is going to bnos sleep away camp this summer she’s going to be in chayil Miriam. I heard it’s a mixture of types.. but my friend just informed me it’s very jappy .. my daughter is shy and not into companies I’m nervous she will feel out of place what should I do? She is going to camp for the first time ever she chose this camp because her friend is going. Does anyone know much about this camp? What type it is ? What kind of families send there? My family is reg. Yishivish OOT

You should definitely look more into it. Girls are snobby and clicky. They are very into companies not sure your daughter would fit in

My daughter is in bnos and plans on going to chayil next yr imh she's out of town yeshivish has great friends from there bh. There will be all types. If she has a friend going that you are comfortable with I wouldn't worry. My daughter isn't into brands beyond the lulu lemon fanny pack. Clothing from regular frum stores

It’s a very mixed crowd. Every camp has some girls into brands. My kids don’t ask for brands and have a nice group of similar friends who are also not jappy, not snobby or into brands. The whole camp is definitely not jappy. If her friend is her type and she writes her down she’ll likely be in a bunk house of that type.

My daughter is going and not into brands. My feeling is that second half is more their type than first.
