Spinoff from my post abt lasering hairline.
Since you can’t have the best of both worlds with laser/electrolysis for a low hairline, would you rather your lace top wig looks good, or would you rather looking good and natural when hair isn’t covered or when wearing a tichel that shows the hairline.

Wig. I wear it more often then my tichels.
I lasered a tiny bit of my hairline and don't regret it.

As a married woman you are seen in your wig more often. So I vote wig.

I did Electrolosis on my hairline. I told her specifically to not do it in a straight line. I maintained a natural looking hairline even though I took off a considerable amount of hair

I’ve been having the same debate! I have a widows peak which doesn’t look great with a lace top but I like how it looks when I wear a fall with a headband (I show a bit of hair). Several SM have told me to just laser it off but I’m scared of how it’ll look plus I just don’t love the idea…

Maybe you can also try electrolysis. Move it up slowly. I assume it hurts like h*ll though.

I have a widows peak and sheitel machers have told me to laser it, but I would never consider it. It’s part of my face and I don’t want to change how I really look in order to keep up with the increasing pressure of having the most natural looking sheitel possible.

What do you mean not in a straight line? did you keep your widows peak, you just moved it up a little bit?

I'd find a way to cover different. I'm not going through pain or staying with a strange hairline.

My hair. Because it's the real me, and I have to be happy with the real me. A wig is a mask; it isn't me.

Neither. I guess I don't have a widow's peak, so no nisayon, but kisui harosh in its proper form (speak to your rav to know how he holds) is very important.

Not every woman wears a wig more than a tichel. I am probably seen in a tichel more.
