I'm so embarrassed. I would never have guessed this high. I just checked and it's about 6 hours a day.

And omg I just checked further down and I hit 9 hours sometimes. I'm assuming those days I'm listening to podcasts that happen to be YouTube so the screen is there but I'm not actually watching it.

I see that for me as well sometimes. I wonder if the phone counts music time or podcasts… 😣

I see a defined peak the days I'm home so that raised my average significantly. I'm home twice a week and constantly have torahanytime.com or music playing. Also I do take relaxing time those days while the kids are out so I'll watch a movie or browse.
Also when I nurse I know I use my phone more and with a newborn I'm constantly nursing so I scroll more than usual.
In general it's about 3-4 hours a day. Thanks for this awareness! I'm going to try to cut down.

If you have an iPhone, go to settings then search for screen time

You should be able to see a breakdown of where you are spending your time

I have an android. I went to settings. Typed in screen time. It showed up under apps. Click on it and then press screen time again. It shows the times and breakdown....

Most often about 4 hours, but as low as 2 and as high as 8. Does it include WhatsApp calls? Because I can be on that over an hour sometimes.

6+ hours usually. But I have music playing often, and I use it for work for about an hour a day.

I can't be judged by my screen time. I use my phone for work all day and then use Waze every time I drive somewhere. Plus music or classes going when making dinner or doing dishes. So easily 9-10 hours before I even do anything fun.

Mine too and that’s why I didn’t vote. Going through a rough patch now so I’m constantly on it.

I can have podcast or shuir on for a few hours straight whilst I do some of my work and again when I'm doing housework and no one is home or baby is sleeping so my screen time is really high.
Any other screen time is emails or Imamother.

Kosher smartphone, very proud to say just under 7 hours total in the past week. I say proud because I'm RWMO and decided I didn't want the distractions in my pocket anymore. 90% siddur+mishnah.

Unfortunately, that's not my total screentime, as I can't get away from my laptop due to work.

I really wish there was some way to take out any shiurim, music when calculating my screen time, anyone know how to do that?

Same.

It includes everything. Not just social media or entertainment.

So my shopping for groceries, making my weekly menu, listening to a podcast while folding laundry or cooking , my 45 min of exercise on my app etc

Mine is about 9 hrs & I'm surprised it isn't more, considering I'm up 15 hrs a day lol.

I try to go easy on myself. Having a rough week and this helps me stay sane. As long as my kids are not neglected in any way I give myself grace.
