Are apparalel skirts tznius? They are see through by the pleats. Am I the only one who notices it?
I see it with other skirts as well. I’m wondering if others are sensitive to this

No idea what an apparalel skirt is, but if it's too see-through,wear a slip.

If YOU think it's transparent, it is. Never buy anything you're unsure about. Your first impression is always correct. It will be the same first impression others get when you wear it.

Mine is fully opaque. Curious what you define as see through. Are you saying you can look through and see your body? Or you mean it makes it stick out? Is form fitted? Or you got the short length and it’s not covering your knees? What do you mean by see through?

I don’t know about that one, but yes! There is a sheer problem.
I normally shop in “regular stores” for a simcha I shlepped to Lakewood and you can’t imagine how many things had sheer sleeves or skirts and now all needed to be lined or a shell. If I am going to a frum store, why in the world is this an issue!!!!

You mean the ones really sheer meant to be layered? Or you mean it’s not actually sheer and just not opaque enough?

I'm thinking she means in between the pleats by the seam. Some skirts are knitted there and have holes I noticed.

You mean by the thin lines in the folds of the pleat?
I’ve noticed it too, but it’s not nearly wide enough, and ever positioned in a way to allow anyone to actually see anything.

Wear a slip. If you worry about being backlit, wear two slips. Problem solved.

I have several apparalel skirts. They are not see through.
I have a white pleated knit skirt from a different Jewish company that has...holes? gaps? in the knitting around the waist and pleats, caused when the material stretches as I put it on.
