First time making challah and using a Bosch
Which bowl is for bread, the metal or white?
The dough hook doesn’t fit on the metal bowl so I’m assuming the white? But it’s smaller

Each bowl comes with a separate hook they’re not interchangeable. Make sure you’re using right one. The prongs should be sticking up in the metal bowl. Maybe you could find a YouTube video or manual. Hatzlacha
Side note, in my opinion, either bowl works fine for challah.

Right I tried thanks
The challah bowl has a thing sticking up in the middle? Because that’s my white bowl and the only one the dough hook fits onto

No there’s nothing sticking up in the actual challah/metal bowl. The hook is placed with the prongs up into the center
