Help me with my bedroom

In my dreams my bedroom is an oasis in my home, in reality it's really not.
My kids come in and I often find their stuff around. DHs bed almost always has clutter on it. The end tables have clutter, also mostly DHs. DH uses a CPAP machine so that's quite a bit of "ugly" that's out.
The radiator has more clutter - DHs.
His closet is a disaster but I don't really care that much, there's a door.
My closet is also a disaster at this point,mostly because of a lack of normal storage.
There's a couch in the room and a recliner which I hate but DH likes it and technically when nidda each of us can use a sitting space. There's a third closet that has "stuff" but it's not organized and it's a mess.
I'm so overwhelmed by it all.
I don't know where to start and what to do first second and third.
So many other areas of my house are organized and normal but my bedroom is bad and I feel bad about it.
Once I do deal with the clutter- how do I make my space look nice without spending lots of money?
