Looking for current feedback. Ds saw a female associate today, our first time at the office. The hygienist and the dentist identified several cavities- at least four on adult molars. How good is the practice at identifying cavities? Over the years, at various practices, I've learned that it takes skill to properly diagnose holes vs just stains or some other minor issue that does NOT need to be treated. Some experienced dentists are great at it and will not treat and drill teeth unnecessarily. Is this practice good at this?

Yes, of course.
That doesn't mean the spot showing up on the x-ray is actually a cavity, or even if it is, that it needs to be filled.
